That's a nice interaction. 🫶🏻 I'm glad it found home in your poetry. 🌸We as humans live for such interactions. It's a fine example that humanity is not lost. It's still there hidden inside loving people.
I write at The Reflective State, where one of my ongoing series is Mountain Mysteries—atmospheric tales of mystery, folklore and the unexplained set in the mountains of India. If curiosity ever brings you my way, I'd genuinely love to know what you think.
How did this not succeed? I love this weird little interaction, and the plot twist at the end where the shop's been closed for an hour, was not expecting that. It reminds me that there are still some good people out there. The woman in the poem gives me Asian grandma vibes for some reason. I also like the little rhyme in this line "She forgot to mention it's made of green chilli
She brings the tea and a banana for free". It tickles my brain in a nice way, good rhythm
Haha that’s quite the encounter. Fun poem, and noted on the trick for a burning mouth!
I love this so much! Wonderful.
Thank you!

Delightful
I'm glad you shared it.
Thank you for reading :)
Either way it’s cute, I love the unique scenario that inspired you to write about this
Aw thank you for saying that!
"She forgot to mention...
It's made of green chilli."
"She brings the tea...
And a banana for free."
Burned my tongue...
Then healed it.
Some people leave you remembering a conversation.
Others...
A small act of kindness.
Warm. Whimsical. Memorable! I'M SUBSCRIBING!
